Bursary A Package

A bursary in the amount of $2,000 is provided to a current 3^rd or subsequent year post-secondary student who will be enrolled full time in a healthcare program.

Read through the bursary criteria below to determine eligibility and the documentation required to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Enrolled full time in 3^rd or subsequent years in a healthcare program at an accredited post-secondary institute;
2. Permanent resident of Armstrong, Spallumcheen or Enderby;
3. Volunteering or paid activity and/or demonstrated natural aptitude in the healthcare field.

Documentation Required:

1. Transcript of courses completed;
2. Copy of registration for third (or subsequent) year;
3. Letter stating:
   1. Proposed career goals in healthcare field;
   1. Interests, volunteer activities, employment, if any
4. Documentation indicating permanent residency in Armstrong, Spallumcheen or Enderby;
5. Contact information, such as home address, phone numbers and email address.  Name of local contact person (ie. parent/guardian).

Selection and Payment:

1. Applications must be submitted by June 30^th;
2. Applicants will be interviewed before selection;
3. Only successful candidates will be advised of selection;
4. The successful candidate has until December 31^st to enroll.  A copy of proof of enrollment from the institution must be submitted to receive payment.
